Shattered Thoughtsby KDOComment by scrum8: The lighting seems harsh, but maybe that is the intent. I think I would have tried it in a "light tent" to cut down on the glare. |

Shattered Thoughtsby KDOComment by snackwells: Revisiting.
This image has a moody, surreal feel to it with your given choice of lighting/hue adjustment. At first, I quickly skimmed passed this shot as another broken bulb shot. However, I can see the connection between your title and shot (lightbulb = moment of inspiring thought). Well done. This image is beyond reproach from a technical point of view, except for one small area on the screw that appears to have been burned a bit to perhaps reduce a blow out (a bit distracting loss of detail). Does not take away much from the quality of this shot, however. I am raising this one up from 4 -> 7. |

Bedroom Breezeby KDOComment by Kylie: Now this is art through a photographer's eye. This stirs you and makes you feel the breeze and wonder what has taken place in this room through the years. The post-processing is sheer perfection for my personal tastes. This is the kind of photography I wish I could see so much more often on DPC. Thanks for a great shot. |

Shattered Thoughtsby KDOComment by Kylie: One of two lightbulb shots that really moved me in the challenge. There is real emotion and movement here, along with technical excellence. I love the shift from dark to light as you gaze from one side to the other. Terrific composition within the frame. Bold colors. The frame really works for me on this one. |

Shattered Thoughtsby KDOComment by magicshutter: I like this shot. I do on the other hand think the bottom right hand corner is a little bright. I would have used a polarizer to remove that glare too, but that's just me. 5 |
