Greetings from the CC, great diagonal line created by compostitonal choice with rocks, good choice with the horizon one third at top of shot, nice colors, good clouds, my only criticism is that it seems a little unsharp in the foreground. It could just be DOF, and may have cropped a bit off on right. Overall a nice location and shot. I think it could have a little more wow if there was a bird or a person in it somewhere, but this way it is a quiet and serene shot.

Thank you for your entry! While this might not have been a popular conflict, there were many heroes that deserve recognition. One thing you might consider next time is bouncing some light upwards to soften the shadow from the top of the monument. Additionally, it might have been a stronger composition if the white background elements were level on each side.

a shallower depth of focus might have improved this dramatically. still, good contrast and focus.
