Artistic Skater 2by MakkaComment by SJCarter: Wow - amazing clarity and color! Great capture. I really like the close crop too. It works very well with the spinning action. |

Remmi - Close Cropby MakkaComment by SJCarter: Wow - what a beautiful capture! The intensity of her stare is terrific. The image is a little dark - you might consider brightening everything a tad (but that's personal taste). Great focus/DOF/everything else! |

Darker side of the apple!by MakkaComment by rjkstesch: You've done well on this experiment. You've managed to create a mood around this apple. The darkness works well. I see detail in all sides of the apple, and the highlight is not blown out. This is a technically fine piece. |

My Youngest Daughter Amyby MakkaComment by rjkstesch: This is a nice candid. You've caught a wonderful expression and moment in time. The composition is good with strong interest focused on your subjects. The lighting is a bit problematic, with filtered sun creating uneven patches. You were able to keep most of that away from your daughter's face. This is an image to cherish. |

Self Portraitby MakkaComment by datcat: Very nice...and menacing. The skin tones are great, I'm not sure if the white of the eye is too white, don't mind the blue, but then I've got a blue thing goin' on right now..........very cool |

Remmi - Close Cropby MakkaComment by Rikki: Love the gaze she makes. I would crop more to the right to give her more room on the left so the eye of your viewer doesn't stop abruptly. Great bokeh as well. |

Tree Linesby MakkaComment by SJCarter: Great focus and composition. I tend to agree with the other commenters though - full color doesn't seem to give it as much impact as it might have in B/W or in duotones. Have you considered burning and using sepia? Still, a good shot as is. |

Churchby MakkaComment by SJCarter: You've got a much steadier hand than me my friend! LOL Great shot! I agree about cloning out the next door building and the handrail. Love the perspective - you even got stars in focus! Nice work. |

Self Portraitby MakkaComment by SJCarter: Beautiful piece of work. Lighting and focus are spot on. I like the desat too. The blue may be a tad too violet, but I'm splitting hairs. ;-) GREAT job! |
