Lights by GinaRothfelsComment by roz: i totally agree about it being challenging using minimal black and white ...
i dont know how much you can adjust things in the picture style in camera ..
for the 'c __ is for' challenge ... i took a photo of an insect and changed the picture style in camera .. i will have to look to see if i can make more dramatic changes .. as that is something i was interested in ..
check out this image of insteps .. minimal editing rules ..
it may also depend on your camera .. as to what you can do ..

Lights by GinaRothfelsComment by GinaRothfels: Thanks GeneralE. I think I'll have to print that when I'm at my computer. The built in white balance settings weren't much help with the test shots I tried but I haven't had time to try custom settings yet. |

Lights by GinaRothfelsComment by GeneralE: You've set yourself quite a challenge!
I'm not familiar with "colour filter settings" for your camera, but if you are trying to accentuate, suppress, or shift colors you might try setting your custom White Balance to a colour target, which produces an effect similar to using a physical filter of the opposite of whatever colour you use to set the WB. I keep a 4x6 print like this in my camera bag:

Thanks. I don't think I gave enough thought to my choice of project. I chose minimal to make it easier to submit from my phone when I don't have time to download and edit my photos on the computer. But having committed to minimal, I'm hoping it will be a good learning experience. |

All Setby GinaRothfelsComment by gipper11: The entire photograph, for the most part, is out of focus; and there is a lot of unneeded noise throughout. |

Beetleby GinaRothfelsComment by Pangurban: Ah. The first car I remember my parent's having; ours was white though. Charming and love the focussing in on just one area. |
