Bell Curveby KylieComment by BobsterLobster: I like this shot very much, although I would tidy the cyan pixels in the top left. Without those, this looks like a b&w to me, rather than an overcast day as someone mentioned below. |

Swept Awayby KylieComment by BobsterLobster: Wonderful shot, great composition and good colours. There's an undefinable something about the mood of this shot I really like. |

Golden Waveby KylieComment by ScantyNebula: Ooooh this is very nice .. its so abstract yet techy looking, the colors and shapes are great. I notice that the sky has a tad bit of grain, perhaps run it through NeatImage :D |

Stationingby KylieComment by banmorn: oooooooooooh this very nice....I bracket all the time as well and I think it a good idea with light variations in a subject. But with this as is the the dook can go....crop in from the right to the right past the handle on the door and see what you think. To avoid a squarish image I would counter the right crop up from the bott just a bit to the corner of the light blue line at the bottom. You got some sharpening jaggies on this that you can either clean up with a small blur tool brush or use a higher than number threshold levels to avoid if you reprocess. Like this as well. |

Swept Awayby KylieComment by banmorn: I think of the three like this I really like this better...thought I do like the colors you got in the one very much! I was going to suggest your chopping in from the right a bit but thought better of it as the dark provides a nice counterbalance to the light...so leave it. You should however definitely adjust the crop on the left...That happens to me all the time.... just crop that thin light background line away. That little triangle at the top bugs me a bit and I think it best to leave it alone though you might see how it looks cloned away. That's all~ GREAT shot....Like it very much!

Streaming Blueby KylieComment by banmorn: Before I start, just to warn you, One of my nick names is Choppin' RoB. OK...CHOP! lol! Anyway I agree with Jason about the bottom. Th broken blind just has to go. The round part on the right is nice but it does not work well, for me, with the rest of the shot...though it does provide a nice shape contrast to the strait lines and the light blue to the dark blue above. But it has to go as well...cropping is the easiest way to go here and you just need to crop up from the bottom back most of the two full rafters. There is still a nice curve on the top right fo contrast. Now the color blue that remains I like a bit but I agree it is rather dark. I only have PS elements and I do not know what software you use for editing. I would adjust the levels and I most always to this by reseting the black, gray and white points. Sometimes auto levels works well and usually hit to see if I like it and if not go it alone. PSP8, which I also have, has one step picture fix which I use if I cannot lighten a dark image to my liking. The noise should be done away with but lighten first to see how far you got to take it. Like your compoisiton with strong diagonals. Let see what happens with the changes you decide on. I like the Title...I just worked on it a bit and I post the link in a moment. See what you think. It's just an idea....going your own way is always best....here you go:

! ! !by KylieComment by JPR: This is my favorite of your photos! Outstanding work. I would title it "Exclaimation Mark" or something along those lines only more meaningful, since the first thing I see is a whimsical exlamation mark in this very industrial perfectly planned world. |
