Striking...I love this shot and photo with the use of negitive spaces...Hmmm, I so happen to have shot a similar image myself about 2 weeks ago...with some birds flying over some trees....converted to b/q and uped the levels a tad to create the sky to wash out....However, it's in a heavy editing mode...Shot it as a snap shot, however, I wished I had gotten a better image...but strikeing and yet just simple...Simple shot seems to go futher than some photo that is to busy..it just depends... |

This is great black on white go with creativity also. Remember luck and being in the right place has a lot to do with getting an excellent image. |

Great capture. The photo is a bit stark (black/white) but that does add a nice feel. It's an interesting photo, that would work best in a set of photos for a particular subject (either the city you were in, or birds, or black/white). I picture it in a series at a museum, but not alone on a wall of a house. Very clean photo. Good job! |

Hi Kylie,
I would treat this like a b/w shot; it looks that way to me! Perhaps you'll want to shift it over deliberately. I love the line. Really fine work! I love stark, minimalist images like this, and this one is done quite well. |

I like this shot very much, although I would tidy the cyan pixels in the top left. Without those, this looks like a b&w to me, rather than an overcast day as someone mentioned below. |

I think this is a cool artistic shot that wouldn't fare well on here because it doesn't fall into the "traditional photography" genre. |

Oh, the possibilities, ouch, such a brief time to shoot! I'm assuming you had a clear sky, but it's hard to tell because the sky is overexposed. Imagine this shot with a deep blue gradient behind it. Did you use a polarizing filter? |
