The Red Heart Public Houseby MAKComment by tiggermo: this is very nice! I like the use of b&w, and long exposure. I love night-time shots. It could use a little bit of various level adjustments in certain dark parts of the picture. |

Indian.jpgby MAKComment by shamer: This is REALLY well done - I'd love to know what techniques you used here. Her face has so much character to begin with, but you just made this portrait absolutely entrancing! |

Across the Pondby MAKComment by Gringo: Beautiful scene! The processing is a little over-done for my taste. I do like the detail you have managed to bring out without the over sharpened look. Over-all a very nice shot. |

Across the Pondby MAKComment by escapetooz: Beautiful shot. It would be so amazing if the sky was as blue as the pond!
Wish the back horizon was more straight or something. I know it's hard with all the different angles but the line of the hill seems to me to be the one that should be straight to make the sky even. |

Across the Pondby MAKComment by TonyT: This is a really cool image. I love tone mapping. It doesn't always work for me in a lot of photographs, but this one is excellent. I don't know if I see a ribbon, but in the top 20% is my prediction. |

The Red Heart Public Houseby MAKComment by SaraR: Black and white HDR? The post processing has given this an almost Victorian look - if it wasn't for the modern building and patio heater, that is. The lighting is super, and the scene does look very enticing - I want to open the door and find a roaring log fire, the requisite regulars propping up the bar, or perhaps having a game of dominos in the snug, and a landlord just about to pull me a pint of Tim Taylor's! |
