A1010215 1by MAKComment by ubique: Very impressive photograph. I've never tried but I imagine it must be quite difficult to get the exposure right (which you clearly have) in a scene like this? I went to a school, and to a military college, with similar though not-quite-so-grand settings. Imposing austerity is a British tradition. It instils a sense of...something or other... that's probably both important and irrelevant. Anyway, a nice photograph that you don't at first notice is square. Thank you. |

I thought the same thing! Not so much OCD on my part, but I think the overall symmetry of the composition makes the out of sync chairs stand out all the more.
Wrong college I know, but this scene makes me think of the part in Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency with the salt cellar and Professor Chronotis. :) |
