The Mile High Cityby CutterComment by Jutilda: Wow - this almost looks futuristic. I like the texture of the cliff. Your eye follows all the way to the background, yet there isn't a true leading line. The clouds are a nice element to encapsulate the city with the treed area at the bottom as the grounding force. Really very interestingly captured! Nicely composed too. |

The Mile High Cityby CutterComment by Cutter: jimsapp, this shot was taken at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in the foothills. If you have any Rockies secret spots or well known that you would suggest, please let me know. I am always looking for new spots to shoot. |

The Mile High Cityby CutterComment by OdysseyF22: I really like this shot. The framing along the left side is a great touch and works to ground the image to the scene, instead of just being a "floating scenic" type shot. The view is stunning, as is that deep blue in the sky. Wow. Only suggestion, it might be good to burn the cityscape a bit. A lot of the buildings seem bright, almost overexposed. |

The Mile High Cityby CutterComment by jimsapp: Great shot, where were you when you took the photo? I live in Lakewood and go west often and don't remember this vantage point. |
