Good thought, well expressed. The presentation could be better, after all, this is a place more concerned with presentation than ideas. I hope you had an opportunity to revisit this one and do justice to the subject. I like how 4 words express things that are visual and 2 express personhood. Gene fits into both groups.

I like it quite a bit, although it doesn't strike me as high key. There seems to be a bit of pink reflected in the white stripes of the flag. I wonder if you can reduce that with selective colour?
