This is looking like a library.... or at least a room worth exploring. Too bad in all that space there appear to be no takers. Maybe it's a school that isn't in session. I'll hope for that. Would love to see photographer's notes.
As for the photograph itself, it's very well taken and processed IMO. Nice light and toning.

I really like this - but it cries out to be viewed HUGE! Your toning is perfect for the subject. I'd love to know the story behind this room - a library, or a refectory with library shelving? It reminds me of boarding school.
