I think for this one I might have removed the Nike logo. Just because it's such an effective logo that it's all I can look at! ;)

low key doesnt mean the entire image has to be dark .. light areas are totally acceptable .. i think some of the voters didnt know what constitutes a low key image judging by the votes ..

These eyes are full of “mal de vivre” - sickness of living and in the same time with a glimmer of hope. There is also resentment and acceptance. Despair comes sometimes in this combination until an angel’s wing touches the man’s heart! The image of moments in life. Contained despair.

This image is absolutely incredible! I love so much about it I don't know where to begin. I love that you almost shot it like a mug shot. I love that his eyes are glassy and the look in them tells a sad story. I think in this image is amazing in every aspect for this challenge and as a documentation sign of our times.
