Twilight Barrierby BradComment by rmtm333: Interesting perspective. I think the use of the flash takes away from the sunset, which is truly stunning. I would have liked to have seen more of it, i.e. back up a bit, no flash, change the focus to the land and sunset behind, however still using the post and netting in the image. Good Luck. |

Solitude by BradComment by Brad: Thanks to all for the comments during and after this challenge - they really do mean far more than the Ribbon/placing.
I'm flattered. |

Life in the Big City.by BradComment by gloda: I hope I'll never have to drive there. I go nuts in Luxembourg City already! I like how confusing the image is without being a mess in tghe composition. Cool perspective too. But you weren't driving, were you? |

Early Riserby BradComment by insteps: Beautiful shot! I like the dark tones for this subject. You should have placed higher but we'll take any break we can get. |

Solitude by BradComment by Falc: No, no, no its terrible, over exposed, highlights blown, no detail in the shadows, composition is awful, doesn't meet the challenge at all. Sorry Brad this is just too bad to make any useful comments on - it should be DQ'd .....
Bah I wish I could take photos so badly ;-)
Truly a great capture !!
All the best

Early Riserby BradComment by LevT: 17th place is way too low for this great shot. As I wrote below, it was (and still is) my favorite.
btw, just occured to me, I shot my "hekobokeh" on exavtly the same kind of daisy as your "early riser" (just cropped the head out of it). Probably has smthg to do with the fact that we both are in San Diego? Message edited by author 2005-01-17 00:44:10. |
