Great color! For composition, I would prefer the center of the rose positioned more in the center of the frame - it seems crowded right above it. Other than that, a very nice shot that maybe isn't so original, but very pretty.

Reminds me of my own shot in "bokeh". Anyway, love it, one of the few flower shots in the challenge that "do" something for me. Especially love the sharpness and shallow DOF in it. 8 from me.

Nicely framed and good eye for a photo-worthy moment. I wonder if it would add to the feeling of isolation if the DOF were even tighter so as to blur the bushes and really bring focus to the person. Great shot as is, just wondering if that would add impact.

I tried it in Black and White and it didnt appeal to me. Thanks for the comment!

no composition, not great light...yeah maybe some bokeh but maybe if you got up a little earlier you could have gotten some real light in there, shot vertical, etc.
