Lazy Sundayby pgattComment by bcoble: This is a great image. I was one of your 8's. I am not able to critique this image in a negative way. It is a awsome shot. Well done. |

Garie-2-DPC.jpgby pgattComment by SJCarter: Great composition again, but I'd like to see the horizon straightened and the image lightened up just a tad. Great contrast and tones though. Good job. |

Garie-4-DPC.jpgby pgattComment by SJCarter: Not as strong composition as the first two (IMHO). B/W doesn't work for me here. Also don't care for the trucks in the background. Would like to see color version, as I still think it has potential. |

Garie-1-DPC.jpgby pgattComment by SJCarter: Another beautifully composed shot. I agree with the other commenters though, that I'd like to see it in color (although the B/W ain't bad at all!). |

Chimps.jpgby pgattComment by JunieMoon: This was so cute. Closer cropping may make the image better, or maybe not. The shadow is very strong on the little one. Is there any way you can maybe lighten that part of the image to give it more detail and less harsh contrast? |

Garie-2-DPC.jpgby pgattComment by JunieMoon: This one looks a little dark. When was it taken? I like the strong surf in this one. The most interesting part of the photo for me is really the lower 1/2 of the picture. By focusing on one aspect of the surf, either the wave or the water pulling back out to the ocean, you might get a more concentrated and simplified photo. |

Footprintsby pgattComment by JunieMoon: Wow, you got no comments on this one. I don't think I've seen any challenge entries yet with 0 comments. Anyway, I love the interesting colors of this one. If you had cropped out the foreground, I would almost think it was a topographical image of a mountain. I voted it a 7 during the challenge, probably because I thought it didn't depict granular all that much. Still, the photo is definitely very cool. |
