14.12.08 Meet Socratesby suemackComment by Jutilda: I think this is charming. Reminds me of the story of Algernon although he was a mouse. I don't mind the pet kind but when they were living in my attic - I had a totally different perspective. The overlay couldn't be more perfect. I love his little eyes. :~) |

14.12.08 Meet Socratesby suemackComment by MattO: The processing reminds me of something you would see on a horror film, and the use of it on the rat only makes it better. I dont mind rats, but I also dont think they make good pets..........I'm weird but not that weird. :D |

7.12.08 Smilesby suemackComment by CNovack: B&W tones are good but I think it could use jussst a touch of brightness contrast adjustment for the lighter tones of the dog to pop more off of the dark backdrop (in other words lighten the light tones and darken the darker ones) I really like the subject of the photo...nice candid capture. The sparkle in this delightful doggie's eyes and the wide open mouth really gives us the feeling she is happy, happy, smiley, smiley. This is a really happy feel photo. |

14.12.08 Meet Socratesby suemackComment by Melethia: He's adorable!! Rats are critters, too, you know. :-) And perfect processing - enough and not too much. You do very good work with overlays and such - very skilled handling of the tools. |

14.12.08 Meet Socratesby suemackComment by MaryO: I do rats as part of being a small animal lady. Primarily The Rabbit Lady, but someone has to make sure the other little furry things have been sexed correctly and handled once in awhile. And photographed, of course! Which I usually do without an assistant, but having a clearly comfortable person happily holding a rat is a good "sales" tactic. Most of them are really quite personable; just don't look at the tail end too often and avoid the hairless ones ==:-p |
