Socrates, pet of one of the awesome young helpers at work today. Have to admit this was as close as I got ..... I don't do rats.

Urban acid action, lomo action, overlays of some gritty brush strokes of mine, final overlay of one of goodman's Thanks Les :D

I don't do rats either... but this little guy is kinda cute. Great dof here, and I like the processing. Maybe a bit green for my tastes, but I usually feel a little green and queasy when I think of rats anyway. Cute shot! :)

I think rats are CUTE! I really like that the owner's face is oof, really makes me focus on that cute little rat lovingly cuddled in his human's hands. The tones and overlay work well too.

I think this is charming. Reminds me of the story of Algernon although he was a mouse. I don't mind the pet kind but when they were living in my attic - I had a totally different perspective. The overlay couldn't be more perfect. I love his little eyes. :~)

The processing reminds me of something you would see on a horror film, and the use of it on the rat only makes it better. I dont mind rats, but I also dont think they make good pets..........I'm weird but not that weird. :D

He's adorable!! Rats are critters, too, you know. :-) And perfect processing - enough and not too much. You do very good work with overlays and such - very skilled handling of the tools.

I do rats as part of being a small animal lady. Primarily The Rabbit Lady, but someone has to make sure the other little furry things have been sexed correctly and handled once in awhile. And photographed, of course! Which I usually do without an assistant, but having a clearly comfortable person happily holding a rat is a good "sales" tactic. Most of them are really quite personable; just don't look at the tail end too often and avoid the hairless ones ==:-p

Hi Socrates! You better stay away from our home. Too many mice didn't survive.

Wonderful DOF!
