Wonderful atmosphere in the photo and I love all the elements in it, too. |

22by suemackComment by Jutilda: Reminds me of a poem in a children's book of verse, when I was little:
The north wind doth blow
and we shall have snow
but what will poor robin do then?
He'll sit in a barn
and keep himself warm
and hide his head under his wing
poor thing
I like the editing - almost looks three-D. Did you use USM?? Nicely composed with the use of neg. space and I'm so glad we can see the movement of the drops, as they rain down on him in a slight diagonal line. I'll send you dry sunny thoughts. ;~D |

22by suemackComment by roz: omg this is so perfect .. the b&w is excellent, great contrast and clarity .. that little bird so gorgeous with the raindrops .. love it .. :)
in fact this is very similar in some ways to a photo i took a few months ago ... different setting ..
i just went to have a look at mine to see the similarities and its more that its just the same sort'v bird .. but they're both b&w .. i'll stick it in here so you know wot i'm going on about ..
i wonder if there's a country in the world that doesnt have sparrows ?? .. Message edited by author 2007-09-22 08:11:57. |

21by suemackComment by roz: it appears that bailey's morphed into a sheep !!.. it happens around here A LOT !!! ... excellent b&w .. it looks like you did a cross process with your b&w ... ?? ... wotever you've done i love the way its so contrasty .. that sheep looks like he's talking to you .. of course i know, coz i get the odd sheep photo myself, that he's just chewing .. in fact they never stop chewing .. in low light it can be a difficult thing to photograph them without motion blur in that area !!!!!!! :) |

For Joshby suemackComment by Jedusi: ROFL . .
Baileys Self Portraits and general photographic skills are coming along beautifully, but it looks like you need to put more effort in on your handwriting . . :- P
Really good shot. If I was going to nitpick at all I would say that he should be holding a felt tip to match the ink width on the paper.
Other than that great work. |

19. Handsby suemackComment by carofo: This is such a strong image! The deformed hands almost make you completely forget anything else in the image. Then you notice the tiny camera and just imagine the pain she must have just to use those tiny buttons. A very powerful shot. |
