That is a cute bird. Seems like it's thinking - man, I wish it would stop raining. This really sucks!
Wonderful atmosphere in the photo and I love all the elements in it, too. |

Reminds me of a poem in a children's book of verse, when I was little:
The north wind doth blow
and we shall have snow
but what will poor robin do then?
He'll sit in a barn
and keep himself warm
and hide his head under his wing
poor thing
I like the editing - almost looks three-D. Did you use USM?? Nicely composed with the use of neg. space and I'm so glad we can see the movement of the drops, as they rain down on him in a slight diagonal line. I'll send you dry sunny thoughts. ;~D |

| I glad it sprung a leak in your neighbourhood, otherwise you would not have captured this fine little partly drenched bird we see here..... Very nice capture Sue..... I love the water droplets..... |

omg this is so perfect .. the b&w is excellent, great contrast and clarity .. that little bird so gorgeous with the raindrops .. love it .. :)
in fact this is very similar in some ways to a photo i took a few months ago ... different setting ..
i just went to have a look at mine to see the similarities and its more that its just the same sort'v bird .. but they're both b&w .. i'll stick it in here so you know wot i'm going on about ..
i wonder if there's a country in the world that doesnt have sparrows ?? ..
