Flutter-By IIby TranquilComment by Tuckersmom: Nice neutral background. It is so hard to get these, I follow mine around the yard, the neighbors must think I'm nuts! I think this would be much better if some of the green was gone, particularly the stuff on the left. It just draws my eye right to it when it should be on the flower and butterfly. The green on the right makes sense to me. |

Desert Driftwoodby TranquilComment by Tuckersmom: the color version of this is stunning, but this is nice too, I almost like it better. Maybe a little more contrast in the background would be nice. Did you add grain? |

Stanley!by TranquilComment by Tuckersmom: Very cute :) Nice viewpoint and focus on the eye. Wish the ear wasn't cut off, but sometimes what can you do??? Good capture |

Icescapeby TranquilComment by Tuckersmom: Great colors and fluidity. The capture in the upper left is amazing, the orange and the blue. One suggestion would be to get rid of the branch in the upper right, about a third in sticking up out of the ice. For some reason my eye keeps going to it. |

Airbornby TranquilComment by Tuckersmom: Wow - great capture and colors, I really like the highly saturated colors:) I like how the blue in his jeans matches almost perfectly the blue of the water. His body position is excellent. |

Artificialby TranquilComment by RonBeam: Not an easy shot to get, but you did it very well. This will be a good one to work with in your editing software after the challenge. |

Strike Up the Band!by TranquilComment by brianlh: Wonderful shot - the high contrast certainly fits the subject well. I'll just jump right into it. I think the blur in the trombone itself is a non-issue, because if the trombone is being played.. there's bound to be some motion, right? Plus, the lack of focus and leading lines help draw the attention to the player.
The cheeks and eyes are great in a semi-comical manner.. the only thing I really notice here is that there seems to be some kind of anomaly (maybe I just am too slow to figure out what it is) underneath the horn at the bottom right corner.. looks kinda wrinkly and I can't figure out what it is.
