Crop the flower to you cannot see it all, centering leaves nothing to the imagination.
Lighting good and the angle of the flower and shadow work for you.

Beautiful photo of a beautiful flower wonderfully done. Could have been cropped down more on the top. The empty space adds nothing. But there are better ways to show the sun coming. Beautiful photo is a 9 but for the challenge it is a 6. PTL

this is a great image photographically. I like the composition and expression you have captured on the models face. On a side note, I find the border is a little wide, but that did not effect the score.

I don't think the border suits the photo, it is too brash for this beautiful soft looking woman. Gorgeous ligthing, and great focus, nice subject, and lovely cropping. Great use of contrast and black and white, she almost looks like a porcelin doll! Beautiful job. At first I put this at 9 because of the border, but I think I'm going to overlook the border, and base it off the picture, which to me is a good 10. Congrats! and good luck!

I love the square shape of this intimate close up, it is cropped perfectly.... the tonality of light and shadow is superior and competes to my eyes with any b&w zone system - film based image............... 9
