| this is a great image photographically. I like the composition and expression you have captured on the models face. On a side note, I find the border is a little wide, but that did not effect the score. |

| I don't think the border suits the photo, it is too brash for this beautiful soft looking woman. Gorgeous ligthing, and great focus, nice subject, and lovely cropping. Great use of contrast and black and white, she almost looks like a porcelin doll! Beautiful job. At first I put this at 9 because of the border, but I think I'm going to overlook the border, and base it off the picture, which to me is a good 10. Congrats! and good luck! |

| I love the square shape of this intimate close up, it is cropped perfectly.... the tonality of light and shadow is superior and competes to my eyes with any b&w zone system - film based image............... 9 |

| A very good portrait. Composition and lighting is perfect. I´m not so sure about the border. I like borders and I use them all the time myself, so it´s not that. I had probably made it not so thick and in black - but it´s just this little thing called taste. Never mind I don´t count you down for that. High score for this lovely portrait. |

| Good use of light, I feel it was taken from a little too low. Too much up the nostril for this close up crop, but I am nit picking. Nice shot. |

| good portrait. all the technicals are right on. as a portrait photographer i would suggest some powder or other things to cover skin blemishes, and maybe an angle that doesnt look up her nose. |
