I think you need to be careful about being too exact about locations. You've definitely narrowed this one down as to who this might be. I recently critiqued a photo with a similar location of 2 angels and a cross with Celtic knots. About the picture, I couldn't do it better myself. Very nice shot and very well done. - 9

FIRST IMPRESSION: Good find and a good photograph!

CHALLENGE: Meets che challenge.

COMPOSITION: Composition is very good, I like how you placed the bicycle at the left side and included a long view of the sidewalk. It suggests the idea that there's somewhere interesting beyond to ride the bicycle. The shot does seem to be leaning slightly right though (it needs a slight counterclockwise rotation to be level I think)

TECHNICAL: All technical aspects are excellent. Black and white was a good choice to add an old-time feel and bring out the light and shadow.

CONCLUSION: A good, solid entry to this challenge.

Very pretty. I especially like the bird in the upper left. The colors are great. The sun is a bit bright, but what can I expect huh? It's the SUN. Love the colors in the sunrise. We are second shift people, and I don't get to see too many sunrises. The angle and framing/cropping are good, and I like how you have the brush in the forground. Nice touch. ~Heather~

Very postcardy, and technically speaking a beautiful shot. The only thing that kept it at 9 and not 10 for me was a lack of a certain spung, that magic 'Wow!' spark. But I have to save 10s for *something*, right? :-> I love how the colors are almost sepiaish. Maybe a central focus in the silhouettes somewhere might have helped nudge this over the top for me.

I like the effect of the post processing you've created. The condensation on the side of the glass and the reflections at the bottom do a lot for your image, good work.

Composition - I think this is a good image, but there are a couple things that I think would've helped you score a little better. Firstly I will say that the idea is very good and I think the picture as a whole works. The first picture has a pretty light colored background with the clouds. I would rather have seen that be a little less clouded as I think it would provide a little more contrast with the angel and been a little more consistent with the right angel. The center pic could also use a little more contrast with the background. The third one is good as is I think because his head is a little darker than the left one so he has enough contrast.

Technical - All well taken photos. The other thing that I think would've made this score better is that the pictures are so small and the black area around it is really large and heavy. The details would've shown up much better if the individual pictures were all substantially bigger with the title down at the bottom and thinner lines between the photos.

Overall - Well done as it is, but I think some slight changes could have made significant improvement to your score, not that you did poorly by any means. Bringing the figures closer to the viewers makes the photos that much more poignant and emotive. I would understand more if the photos were small to show insignificance or some other characteristic associated with that, but I don't believe these figures or the cross are meant to show insignificance by any means. Well I hope that helps some. Great pic and keep shooting. Good luck in future challenges. - Bob
