Days Gone Byby sherComment by mcmurma: Nice tone, but the composition is not working for me. Everything is too orderly. I realize that this may well be how the scene presented itself, but it just has too much balance. Sharpness is good, though, and it is an interesting scene with lots of texture and nostalgia. Good work. |

Days Gone Byby sherComment by jmsetzler: beautiful work... I think this perspective is phenomenal and the composition along with the toning you chose creates a beautiful rustic/rural feeling... = 10 |

Days Gone Byby sherComment by kiwiness: I like the old fashioned feeling you've created. Tobacco sepia is my favourite tone, it's very fitting here - this is very good! |

Free Your Mindby sherComment by Journey: Well done. A nice tableau to think about in a mass of black. Like the irony of the title and the hand \'holding\' the wires that have a \'hold\' on the mind. The whites pop a little too much for my taste. Nice colors. With your set-up you convey a lot with an economy of props. I always like that. 8
On second thoughts, and after having tweaked my votes, i'm upping this to a 9. I really like your message here and the way you presented it even though the popping whites still bother me (even in the thumbnail. 9 |

Free Your Mindby sherComment by adine: nice green light. Good interpretation of the theme - a mind linked to the matrix isn't free. Perhaps a more diagonal composition would have implied the action of freeing the mind better? |
