Got Milk?by Judith PolakoffComment by ButterflySis: I would crop off the left and focus on the cow that is in the entire shot. This also has a slight green cast to it that's noticeable on the white of the cow and its nose. |

Got Milk?by Judith PolakoffComment by shoyles: Well done. I like the black and white of the cow against the saturated green background. The detail in the black of the cow is also excellent. I would however have given higher marks with a little tighter crop. The cow on the left is a distraction. |

Pine Coneby Judith PolakoffComment by Skip: i like the idea behind the composition, but am not bowled over by the execution. while i like the general organization of the image, i don't like how the pine needles are melting into the background. the bokeh is fine, but i think your image would have been stronger if there was a bit more focus on the needles. |

Pine Coneby Judith PolakoffComment by ubique: Back for a second look to bump up from 6 to 7. The whispy pine needles make a clever visual and focus bridge between the subject pine cone and the presumably snowy background scene. That's a nice touch. So 7. No ... it's even better than that; 8. |
