au revoir (never goodbye)by Ecce_SignumComment by roz: so powerful .. and then i read some of the comments ..
i dont know what you went thru in 2006 .. but from what i've read you lost someone who was very close to you .. Rose .. your child .. ??
but my heart goes out to you even tho many years have passed ..
we carry scars even if the grief subsides ..
i wish you all the best .. and hope that life has thrown you some wonderful and surprising gifts in the intervening years .. miracles even ..
btw .. you could be a movie star with that face .. ;) |

which came first...?by Ecce_SignumComment by Ecce_Signum: Thanks for taking the time to comment Roz, at first I thought it was my post editing that was to blame ie using, the word 'merge'. Both images are an identical setting, nothing at all changes other than my lighting and as such I feel it best not to submit any more light painting images as changing the light is pretty much why I do it lol.
In hindsight I could have just used one of the images then recreated the spotlight in photoshop, that would (I guess) be totally legal but not what I wanted to do.
Oh and yes, as you say multiple images is for focus stacking, HDR and the 'something' you mention is light painting lol
Originally posted by roz: when I saw after rollover that you'd merged two images in Photoshop I was confused .. thought that was against the rules unless those two images are petty much the same and you're doing it to focus stack or hdr or something ..
im really sorry this got a dq .. it's a brilliant piece of art .. it wow'ed me when I saw it after rollover and it wows me now .. and the setup is wonderful .. |
