this is one of the hardest pictures to comment on. it's unique feature which i do like is the inclusion of the Plough constellation. i've never seen a such a thing so well defined in a photo before. i think it's a bit unbalanced by the area of black in the foreground, and i also think that the lighthouse seems a little small / lost in the shot. it's like, you've got two great things (three including the sunset) and you're not sure which one you want us to look at. i think thats the problem - there's too much unrelated stuff in the shot. less would be more, i think... 4.

The original story is about poverty, and you've got a great picture here. I just think that there's something about her that does not look poor at all to me. It gives me the impression of a college kid relaxing by the tree... she looks happy, relaxed, and with no worries.
