Comment by Bear_Music:
It's unfortunate that the offshore rock is so centrally located vertically. It rather destroys the dynamics of the composition, making it really static as it fights to counter the proud sweep of the coastline. This actually wprks better for me in a squarish crop with the rock completely eliminated. It has much more of a sense of sweeping depth that way. Try it yourself and see what you think.

This lacks an overall "color contrast" everything seems so light and fluffy. However, the water is great and the angle is perfect.

I personally like it better with the noise.Kinda makes the atmosphere IMO.
Good to hear others opinion though!

This is very cool. Print it as big as you can! Great b/w shot, nothing is lost without the colour I feel. The man gives a great sense of scale in my opinion.

edit: typo.

Wow! What a difference between this image and the last one of yours I just looked at. Why such a big difference in noise? ISO settings, cropping? Hmmm. Love the color and composition in this one.

I agree witht the below statment and I really agree with the great potential with the wind and the hair.

Very strange image. It is very noisy, not necessarily a bad thing but a little rough-looking since there is noticeable haloing around the cross and figure both, probably introduced in post processing (levels or USM) but possibly (since this appears to be an extreme crop) a function of in-camera high sharpening. I'd like to see an original on this. The hair is so bizarre that there's great potential in the shot.

My e-mail is on my profile if you want to send it.

Beautiful seascape. The leading line of the coast draw your eye throughout the photo. The blues of the sea and sky are spectacularly caught. Aaaah- such a nice relaxing image!
