Phantom of the Operaby TallblokeComment by CLarson557: Cool picture!! Excellent take on the challenge and nice use of B&W. Would it have been possible to get a little longer exposure on the organ player? I didn't quite see him at first. 8 |

Edited-small.jpgby TallblokeComment by pidge: Nice job! I only have one tiny things (and it's mostly personal) I find the sky on top of the clouds a bit to unatural looking with it going from that intense blue on the upper right to such a dark navy on the left. I know it's in the orignal picture already, but maybe just a bit more dodging on the darker side? Otherwise, very nice! |

Edited-small.jpgby TallblokeComment by Zed Pobre: The basic exposure looks good. I'm not a fan of the overburned sky look, with the visible dark/light shifts and the upper left corner in particular looking very unreal to me. I prefer using the shadow/highlight tool to a burn brush when emphasizing a sky to make sure the colorization stays even. On the other hand, this is a very popular look among DPC voters, so don't mind my gritching too much.
There's nothing else to complain about. |

Edited-small.jpgby TallblokeComment by sheapod: Looking at the histogram this shot seems pretty perfect exposure wise. A few of the clouds on the right seem a bit bright when compared with the original, but I don't think it takes away from the photograph much. That said, I really like the dodge on the boat. It makes a big difference. It was a great edit. |
