Balloon Funby JutildaComment by franktheyank: Really fun capture. The hands are very different looking. I'd like to see the inevitable baloon explosion. |

Even Cowgirls Get the Bluesby JutildaComment by Jedusi: How could I have possibly missed this ? You work and empathy with children is always excellent.
The title of this shot fits it perfectly, immediately embracing the viewer and setting off a thousand fictional stories in their heads. Stories of a pretty little heroine who is not angry, petulant or demanding, but lost in thought. In a wonderful circle, while we look at her and imagine what's going on in her head, she may well be lost in her own dreams that have arrived courtesy of this Texas cowboy hat - a hat that suggest blazing summer heat, wide open spaces and exciting characters. An imagination that it's all too easy to lose as we get older and buffeted by the 'realities' of life . . but is so precious.
There is a lovely air of charm and intimacy about this shot. |

angel hair angel lightby JutildaComment by Jedusi: Ah - an image that merits time spent on it :- )
At first glance very simple - maybe almost too simple and heck maybe a bit dark . . but as your eyes adjust to the light and you let yourself slow down past the glitzy, punchy, demanding images that are so often thrown at us what slowly emerges is a very pleasing shot.
The square composition is perfect for this - as is the placement of your niece sitting nicely in the 'rule of thirds', but additionaly there is a diagonal going on with a shaft of light entering top left and leaving bottom right, catching initially her face, but just leaving wonderful delicate highlights on her tumbling hair. Giving a suggestion, not of sensible straight combed hair, but young tumbling playful hair, almost out of sight but in it's youthful exuberance creeping it's way into our visual field. A feeling that the shot you have taken is almost a 'capture' of a young person who is momentarily stationary - rather than an older person that will sit quietly for hours . .
Very nice. |

her leading manby JutildaComment by Ja-9: this is very well done...my only wish is that there was a bit more sharpness and clarity, given that...this is an excellent shot |

her leading manby JutildaComment by PapaBob: I really like this shot but feel the mans arm disappearing is a distraction, to me the crop could have come down far enough to make the arm disappear at the top which would have made the photo. Still a very nice image with a a lot of emotion. |
