American Muscleby JutildaComment by Melethia: This is incredible. Really a wonderful, wonderful shot. I love the angle - including just the headlight and bit of grill, and especially the gravely patch just behind the tire. Perfect! Nicely bordered, too. |

Day 17 - Prudenceby JutildaComment by divadaedalus: Oh those shoes! Had a pair of them, too. You are just too lovely to look too severe and mousy, but this is cool concept with great execution. MMM |

Day 13 - The Showerby JutildaComment by Melethia: How did I miss this one? Way awesome!! The tones are great, the expression is beyond great, you got a duckie in there, and the towel on the blow white wall is the coup de grace, or whatever that phrase is! |

Day 17 - Prudenceby JutildaComment by SJCarter: This is just too funny... So NOT you! HAHAHA. Looks like a mousy librarian. It also looks like you are floating in that chair - almost like Mary Poppins. Very cool. |

Boy: Lostby JutildaComment by wavelength: The statements here are amazing. The metal grating: trapped, held back, forgotten. The glass: brokeness, fragility, lost emotion (opaqued by dirt and grime). And the boy, covered in his environment, half lost to the darkness, shadowed and worn beyond his years, his only hope and brightness lies behind his eyes. Not enough left to even reach out throught he grate with dirtied hands, only enough hope to stare and hope someone sees him. Someone notices him. That someone would care enough to set him free from the prison he has made.
Oh, so many memories. I am so glad that this is no longer me. But it still is a part of who I am today. It still makes me cry, because I always feel like I'm still that child, and have to remember who I have become. |
