Do Calves Get Lonely?by DiamondPeteComment by PTLParsons: Needs a little more light IMO. Otherwise nice photo. For the contest though I think you should have cropped it more to show more of the calf. Either a lighter time of day or lightening of the shot is needed. Great shot if for a landscape challenge if lightened. |

Do Calves Get Lonely?by DiamondPeteComment by banmorn: This is a lovely picture, I would not feel lonely there. I think if the calf is the subject you might have shot in more on it. As it is, the calf looks more lost than alone. Gorgeous Scene. |

Do Calves Get Lonely?by DiamondPeteComment by Trinch: The calf is almost unnoticeable. At first I thought the subject was the duck in the lake. It wasn't until I read the title that I realized there was a calf on the shore. |

The Edge of Stormby DiamondPeteComment by LucidLotus: Interesting! I wish the lighting was a little less harsh on the right, but I'm not sure that would be possible without losing clarity on the left. I like the way you captured the storm line. The rich greens are great, focus is a little softer than I would prefer, but the range of light may have made that hard to get. Nice job! 6 |

Ivy Experiment Gone Wildby DiamondPeteComment by dsidwell: Fun image! I like your front-on point of view. I would suggest just darkening it just a little, and bringing up the contrast. This will saturate your colors more, and generally make it more vibrant. |
