Motherhood by PangurbanComment by vawendy: I really like how you edited this. The texture on the wing is wonderful. It doesn't bother me, but I know that some people would think the top of the head and the little area on the neck are blown. I always look at things like that and see if it can be brought back (simply because people seem to hone in on that). But as I said, it doesn't bother me.
The only nit I have to pick is the cropping. It seems squished on the right. If you want to keep the whole tail, is there more on the bottom you could bring in? Perhaps putting the babies on the rule of thirds line might give it more space? I'd rather crop in from the left, though. |

Angel Wingsby PangurbanComment by MaryO: Really beautiful composition and motion blur. I kind of want to see that eye, so I might have lightened the black on his head a bit and dodged the catchlight in the eye. |

Lumsdale Fallsby PangurbanComment by SaraR: I was one of your 5s, although I did consider a 4. A square crop or 10x8 to exclude the sky would, in my opinion, have been really beneficial. That or invest in some graduated ND filters. This is a 'so-nearly but so-far' photo. Revisit and re-shoot, and in the mean time play around with crops and sharpening - the falls part is lovely. |

Crab Spiderby PangurbanComment by MaryO: Perfect DOF and detail on this guy. And I know crab spiders are pretty small, so kudos. |
