Purple Planterby pumaComment by melismatica: This looks blue on my monitor. Sorry. Even so,it's kind of a dull composition. The planter has potential as interesting subject matter but I would have cropped out the unnattractive foliage, the wood, and the grass in the background. None of these elements add to the composition. The whole thing looks rather drab and colorless. |

Purple Planterby pumaComment by Bran-O-Rama: Uninteresting composition. I'd much rather look at what's planted above. Would've positioned the planter more to the right and much lower in the frame. |

All Aboardby pumaComment by David.C: Lighting: The lighting on the face is good even if a little dark, but there are many hot spots elsewhere in the image.
Pose: her pose is ok, but the glasses have got to go.
Background: Cluttered and distracting. A shallower DOF would have provided the hint of the train without it overpowering her. |

All Aboardby pumaComment by ClubJuggle: Not really a studio shot, and the reflection in the sunglasses is distracting. Portraits are all about the eyes... asking your model to take off her glasses would have helped a lot here. Your background is also distracting... a shorter DOF would have been a tremendous help for this image. |

All Aboardby pumaComment by L1: Although this is a nice snapshot of your model, it really doesn't say "studio portrait" to me. The area behind her head and the highlights along her arm are extremely hot, and the reflections in her sunglasses are distracting. I do like the off-center composition and her natural pose. :o) |

All Aboardby pumaComment by alanfreed: An ok snapshot, I suppose... but this doesn't exactly qualify as a studio portrait in my book. |
