John H. Park.jpgby pumaComment by Jutilda: I think cemetery shots are really cool (see my "family " entry). This is good use of black and white. I love the sky's softness against the hard lines of the tombstones. Well composed! |

CRW_9027SS.jpgby pumaComment by datcat: I like the lighting and colour tone. It's a good shot, but I agree
about the crop at the bottom, I don't mind the tea-towel hanging out of the frame but I think it's too close on the saucepans. They sure are shiny pots, brand new or a lot of elbow grease? Message edited by author 2005-07-28 00:28:10. |

CRW_9027SS.jpgby pumaComment by SJCarter: Definitely one of the better kitchen shots IMHO. I would like to see a little looser crop on the bottom (without cutting off the bottom of any hanging items). I really like the tones, sharpness, and DOF. |

Fly bye.jpgby pumaComment by Arcanist: I really like the 60's war-era feel to these images. Neatimage would have killed em. |

Gitty-up.jpgby pumaComment by jpochard: I think this is the one you requested a comment on. I almost did this one first. Nice clear shot. I wish you had pulled back a little more to get a feel for the horse's surroundings just a bit...and not cutting off the tail. This horse needs a little more room to roam I think. Now, a standing horse this close would be good imo. Just the movement of this one makes me feel like it needs more of the field, if that makes sense. |

Perfect puff.jpgby pumaComment by jpochard: I did one of these for my PaD this month. My husband thought I was crazy for wanting to photograph a dandelion! :) This one is nice. I like the dof. I would prefer it without the other dandelion there I think. I would also like to see it just a bit sharper. Nice lighting on it. |
