Low-Key Rembrant Lightby JoelHSmithComment by adine: This young man does have an air of the young Rembrant. It is a very simple honest portrait. It doesn't say much about the subject however - a bit of a year-book photo, but a good one as far as those go. |

Low-Key Rembrant Lightby JoelHSmithComment by soccerdad: Most helpful suggestion I can think of for this is that the pose is very traditional and that it is hard to generate a "wow" factor with a standard pose. This is a well done portrait that is up against some great ones. Best of luck. |

Low-Key Rembrant Lightby JoelHSmithComment by photom: You have a great looking model in a very straight on formal portrait. Background does look studio-like. There's evidence of two light sources - but it's not a strong demo of Rembrandt. |
