Hurrell's Starletby jenesisComment by nomad469: If someone says (an they will) that this is soft and or gainy send em a nastygram this is a (almost) perfect period piece... needs just a touch of blue cast but a very very good shot -9- |

Vibrantby jenesisComment by mycelium: beatiful tonal quality; she looks like she's glowing. the shirt is a bit too bright - I have no problem with whites in a photo, but in that part of this composition, they are distracting. I like the texture of the background, which is complex enough to keep some interest while subdued enough to keep the focus on the subject. the sharpness of the hair is well done also. the pose and expression look genuine. |

From the Shadow Comes Lightby jenesisComment by rwouthuis: First, I' not a fan of cats and I struggle with voting on phoos of them. In order to get past that, the photo of the cat has to be very good. This is maybe the first cat photo that made me want to stop and pause. So why is that ... the eye is a wonderful colour and in nice sharp focus. The colours of the cats fur are nice as are the details. The black background ensure that the cat is the ocus of the photo. So good work!!! |

Hurrell's Starletby jenesisComment by Rikki: The lighting in this image is great! Wonderful look in her eyes too! Kinda reminds me of Teri Hatcher but done in a Mayfield way. Great job! 7 |

Hurrell's Starletby jenesisComment by MPRPRO: Berniece Abbott once said something to the effect, when shooting a picture the most importent part of the image of a person is their eyes. If the eyes are in focus that will be a great image. Thus the 9 on this one.
Between the eyes and the background lighting this is an amazing shot. |
