Comment by hyperfocal:
Nice subject & composition, but it needs more contrast to get the muddiness out of the background and to add more much to the subject. Good Work.

Comment by Gauti:
good DOF for this kind of shot. The BG is kinda blueish, pure black might be better. If you had the light more from the side (any side) you'd prolly get more interesting shadows.

Relevance to Challenge (2): 0-No cirlcles, shells are logarithmic spirals.
Color/Lighting/Contrast (2): 1.5 - Nice dark background highlights the subject well.
Sharpness/Quality (2): 1.5 seems well in focus but still soft somehow.
Composition (2): 1
Creativity/Originality (2): 0.5
Score: 4.5, I'll round up cause I like it.

boost contrast slightly to make the background look jet black and the shell to pop out more. why not have it on the sand? very imaginative though!

you have leading lines of the tracks and they lead me to the coaster full of people but the suppost lines also lead me to empty sky. neither the blank sky nor the tiny coaster are strong enough to hold my attention for long. why did you decide to place the people so far off to the left? with the speed voters, one you have drawn his eye out of the frame hi brain says "done, next photo please" a leading lines should make you linger on the image to see what more it has to offer.
