hmm.. clever. but it looks like you used normal house lights as your studio lights in this one. I only say that because the lace has a yellow tint to it. that could be the actual color (I would not know) but to make it white you only have to do a simple de saturation on the yellows and it should bring the white right out. ;)

It seems your WB is off (towards the "warm" end, the white lace has an orange tone). overall your pictures appears very soft although you controlled the DOF pretty well. the red wine seems fake.

That wine looks like it's been regurgitated. Yuck! It doesn't look natural at all. Was the lace yellow or white?

This image does not sell the concept, also it seems the white balance is way off, unless you meant for it to be orangish/yellowish. Needs more of a story of the scene.

well alice .. i really love wot you've done with roseann's photograph .. your background is so perfectly applied i just cant see any fault with the way the flower blends in so well .. love the bokeh ..
interesting .. i loved roseann's high contrast with her black background, and wouldnt have thought i'd like a similar coloured background to the flower, until i saw this .. very excellent .. delicate and lovely .. love the border .. :)
