You got that right! :-) The ground strikes are really cool, but the lightning above the clouds is just amazing. There might be a bit too much black on top, but otherwise this is a really gorgeous photo of an outstanding subject. Great job!

It is, isn't? Love watching lightning....as dangerous as it is, it sure is a wonder of nature. Like the two story view you got here and you got a lot of strikes in one image. Guess it was a fairly long exposure...did you use a ND filter? More than one or something else....that and an IR are something I've been meaning to get. Maybe for the next camera. Very nice, I wanted to give this a higher score but felt it needed something other than just the lightning and cloud. Maybe something on the ground to give it a sense of scale. I realise that may be a difficulty, with storms you take what you can get ;-)
