I'm voting on this challenge (as I do all challenges) by first asking myself, does this photo have any appeal outside the boundaries of the challenge. In other words, art comes first. In this case I have to say, \"no\". The subject does not appeal to me as something I would want to look at again and again. Truthfully, I find it unpleasant to look at. I don't mind being made uncomfortable by a photo but this is just mundanely distasteful to me. There isn't enough contrast between the background and the top edge of the banana, It nearly disappears into the background. The only details in the banana are in the lower edge where it is in shadow.

Composition and point of view are interesting. I think if the sandals were more level with the horizon it may have looked better. The sandals also seem a little underexposed. Maybe some fill flash or diffused lighting to help?

Very nice attention to details. I can see just about every single wrinkle in the flower petals but the bottom petal is chopped off. You've probably heard that a million times already haven't you?
