It is always hard to get a perfect shot with a limited timeframe, but here is my attempt.
Just took the shot of myself ready to eat a bannana against a white wall.
I am sure there will probably be a lot of these types of shots.

I don't like the way the banana is so close in color to the background, it loses definition, otherwise a very nice photo that fits the topic well

Awkward cropping (I'd have cropped more of the left side out losing the skin altogether). Image is washed out and, since this was an editing challenge, I would have retouched the pimple! :)

The banana seems washed out a little, or maybe it just needs a darker background.

Very well done. The detail on the banana is great. I'm not sure if borders are permissible for this challenge, though.

A lil bit over exposed. nice composition though.

I'm voting on this challenge (as I do all challenges) by first asking myself, does this photo have any appeal outside the boundaries of the challenge. In other words, art comes first. In this case I have to say, \"no\". The subject does not appeal to me as something I would want to look at again and again. Truthfully, I find it unpleasant to look at. I don't mind being made uncomfortable by a photo but this is just mundanely distasteful to me. There isn't enough contrast between the background and the top edge of the banana, It nearly disappears into the background. The only details in the banana are in the lower edge where it is in shadow.

Nice idea (if a little obvious) let down by a bad crop on the right hand side.
