lick suckby defrostedComment by RedRuthann: Great idea and creative. Definately texture. I like the white background and the lighting and focus. I also like the simpleness of this. Also good angle. 9 Ruthann |

lick suckby defrostedComment by AquaGoddess12880: Nice concept of texture. The shadow is a bit distracting, though. If you add another light source coming up (not too bright as to make it look over-exposed) it would fix that. (6) AquaGoddess12880 |

lick suckby defrostedComment by eddy: The lighting is a bit harsh on this, a softer shadow would of looked better. Nice texture in the lemon, perhaps laying so slices underneath it could of provided a more interesting background. 5 |

lick suckby defrostedComment by Ronin: The lighting is much to harsh for this,.. i might have tried to difuse the lighting so as to not distract from the subject. |

lick suckby defrostedComment by drewmedia: I don't like how this is set up as a documentary-style shot of the lemon. The two textures you've shown (and the great colors) have good potential but need some creative help. What made your decision for choice of background? |

lick suckby defrostedComment by magnetic9999: cool pic. #1 problem is the lighting. the shadow right behind the lemon itself is distracting. better to have lit it from the side. or used 2 lights. one from the front to light it and one from an angle to elim the shadow. mag99 |

lick suckby defrostedComment by hokie: The subject has a lot of potential but the lighting is way off to show any good texture. Plus, it often pays off the not include a straight on full coverage shot of fruit or vegetables. Try just concentrating on a section of the lemon with only a portion of it filling a corner of the frame. Then light from the side. The secret to still life is having the lighting go from brighter to darker across the photo. 5...hokie |
