Spiderwebs - the harshest environment for a flyby RyanWComment by EL-ROI: The spotlit background really puts the focal point on the out of focus spider and that fights for control with the more in focus fly. It gives the image a certain tension that is unique and also complimentary to the tension between the predator and prey. |

Multiple Man has multiple powers including body cloning, phasing, sonic yelling and loving hockey!!by RyanWComment by CNovack: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
I think that this photo composition suffers from being way too busy. Showing a super that has multiple powers in a movie short can work because you have the span of time to do so. Placing them all into one frame/single photo makes it cramped and overwhelming for the viewer. I think you could have just stayed with just presenting one power and done well with just that.
Now, effectively capturing sonic powers in a photo-manip is challenging. The concept shows promise it just needs a little more work. The sonic power on the far right does not work so well as that it is a shapeless mass that seems to just hang there. I do like how you presented it in the center frame as a circle that has concentric waves. That is a great way to show off the sonic powers. I do suggest that the center of the sonic circle best be at his mouth to better show where the power is resonating outward from. Because it would obscure his face with the tight circles, one of two things could be done. The first is increase the spacing between the rings like this example of Black Canary's Sonic power . The second is to have the model pose with a side profile rather than directly facing the camera. In side profile, you could place the sonic circles extending out from the mouth in greater sizes as it gets further away from the point of origin. Again, the idea and concept has promise it just needs a little more work. |

Chocolate Heavenby RyanWComment by MikeO: The background was my main gripe with this. I don't like the shadow on the left and the bottle in the middle. So a 5 from me.
