Idaho Wildernessby goinskiingComment by inspzil: Very nice landscape. Trees are just a little bit dark in the foreground. This is a great photo, and probably a perfect one with a little less sunlight where you could leave the shutter open just a hair longer to get a little more exposure on the dark trees without blowing anything out. NIce work. Have to settle for 9 though. |

Idaho Wildernessby goinskiingComment by brett2004: I have to know where this is, I must go there! I love the line of blue sky and how it is echoed through the vanishing peaks. Great contrast in colors. I think the trees in the foreground could have had a little bit of color to them to add to the contrast. but I give it an 9! |

Flareby goinskiingComment by Aaron: Nice shot! For some reason you purposely included the flare, but I wonder to play the flare up, how would it look if you cropped in on the right side until about the middle of the bright spot? But then again, I'm not sure about that. Regardless though, I do like that flare there, but can't figure out why. |

Idaho Wildernessby goinskiingComment by pcody: Nice shot. You did very well, getting all the texture that you could with this much of a spread from light to dark. There is something about the foreground that throws off the composition. I think it's the darkness. Pretty, none the less. |

Idaho Wildernessby goinskiingComment by Olyuzi: This would be a winner in POV and I wouldn't be surprised if it took a ribbon in this challenge. Wonderful photo! I love the silhouetted trees against the muted colors and that you can see, it seems, for miles and miles. Only thing that needs improving is that the distant mountains get lost in the same colored clouds. |
