One shot in this challenge has a similar subject, drinking straws. I must say that I like the other one better than this one, although this one is good. There is however a bit of distortion, or fuzziness that doesnt do it well.

Nicely done with well chosen backdrop; main issue is that you aren't really close enough to see texture of the popcorn, though most of us know it well. I think a macro of the corn would have been a good idea, though this is a solid pic! One other thing: what happened to the rest of the popcorn.... hmmm, going to make some now.

Simple idea made into a first class image by great use of colour and composition. One small niggle is that it`s too big for my screen and I have to scroll up and down to see the full picture. :)
