Temporary State of Mind by thrumyiisComment by P-A-U-L: This is pretty damn perfect to me. I love it! All the elements have been blended to perfection making a wonderful surreal piece of art. Really well done and congrats on the ribbon. |

Make the time to read my Stephen King novels..by thrumyiisComment by roz: hey Janine .. i've been looking at the pics on your profile page .. and i am blown away .. i use that expression a lot .. seems i get blown away a lot .. but only when something is 'worth' it .. !! .. ;)
you have such a wonderful imagination and your editing is amazing ..
i was looking at your entry in the surreal still life .. and imagined you masking off the cup, saucer, flowers in the vase the strawberry etc .. as to me it looked like an extended edit .. my jaw literally dropped when i looked to see what you scored and saw it was standard .. even reading that you had to balance things etc .. i still have no idea how you did that .. just amazing ..
i like this one a lot .. as with every single image you have on your profile page ... i mean who wouldnt ..
but this made me laugh .. as i have quite a few stephen king novels in my bookcase that i've been meaning to read .. i've read quite a few .. he's amazing .. my absolute fav is the green mile .. i read that twice which is very unusual .. then the shawshank redemption .. :) |

Temporary State of Mind by thrumyiisComment by roz: many many congratulations Janine ..
this is absolutely wonderful .. I don't understand the poetry reference .. but would like to know .. as this is 'full' just the way it is .. with an added element I may just get blown away .. !! ..
and totally understand the last minute thing .. I try and avoid it in dpc as it usually backfires.. I'm so glad this didn't for you xx |

Temporary State of Mind by thrumyiisComment by roz: oh WOW .. this is BRILLIANT ..
such a statement on how we are so caged in in our own minds ..
loving this so much ..
it would be great if we could open that cage door as easily as we can a bird cage ..
i think the world would be a completely different place .. almost like the end of human suffering .. as its our own minds that create it . |

Sunday by the Seaby thrumyiisComment by jomari: I love photos like this that provide a tableau to explore. The people, the steps, the fences, then back again to the people - all those people, doing their own thing, interacting with one another, with the environment, or in one case, with the viewer. My pick for blue. |

Temporary State of Mind by thrumyiisComment by gyaban: What a charming entry! I love how you managed to include poetry in surrealism, a very good combination. The result is serene, and very enjoyable, a winner in my book! |
