The Little Red Henby michael_pComment by roz: hi michael ... thank you so much for going to such lengths to explain how this sort of shot is achieved ... i had a tripod which broke on the first use a month ago, and wanted to go buy one, but was told to wait till after xmas!! ...
so after xmas ... all going well regarding pressies etc ... i'll enjoy using this effect with our dog .... coz i'm not very photogenic ...
and i'll keep you posted ....
'the little red hen' is pretty good for a first attempt ...... let me now if you do anymore ...

The West Gateby michael_pComment by michael_p: The Picture was taken in Warwick (Warwickshire - UK), which is just outside of Coventry an Birmingham (central UK), alot of the town is olde worldy but this is the Lord Leycester Hospital which although called a hospital has never actually been a medical establishment...
With the moody sky and varying colours of the traditional walls I felt the HDR would show thie texture of this quite well and turns out it did, although the letter box is very vibrant I like it !!! Yet my favourite minimalism peice of detail is the road when yuo see the full size version up close.
Thanks for all the wonderful comments too :0) |

The West Gateby michael_pComment by JuliBoc: Sorry I didn't comment earlier. I really like this shot and gave it a 10. Where is your home town? This reminds me of Ludlow, England. |

The Little Red Henby michael_pComment by roz: seen a few images that achieve the same kind of look ..... I LOVE IT ... i saw another one, totally different, but using the same technique today, and the person who did it said it took him an hour from shooting to putting it in dpc ... if thats the case i cant imagine its done with cloning?? ... or is it?? ...
I WOULD BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL IF YOU WOULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS TECHNIQUE IS ACHIEVED ... THANK YOU ... |

Lymm, Cheshireby michael_pComment by BeeCee: Love the soft hues... very peaceful. Font works well, inobtrusive, doesn't distract yet easy to read. |

Lymm, Cheshireby michael_pComment by GrayGhost: Nice landscape. Foreground branches are a little too intrusive, a slightly tighter crop to reduce them would probably be better. Also consider bumping up saturation and constrast. |
