A&E.DSCF9409by mariucaComment by insteps: The color palette, how the flowers match the Adam and Eve art, is what I find interesting. The purity of white juxtaposed with warning, caution, and danger of orange. That's temptation. Works well square too! |

A&E.DSCF9409by mariucaComment by streetpigeon: My eye flowed downward in this image. It began with, "oh no, a couple of flowers," but as I completed the visual journey I admired the creative, modulated and harmoniously toned result. The medieval illustration, perhaps of fertility and/or love, is an allegorical blossom or bud of a different order, but tied into the upper flowers. The moon and sun of the "real" flowers are echoed below on the upper stem and just inside the veined, globe-like bud. The upper flowers are subtly angled to look at the couple. It's a still life with a twist, and that allusive twist makes all the difference. Elegant and, did I mention, creative. |

A&E.DSCF9409by mariucaComment by posthumous: did you stick those flowers on a painting? what a weird and irreverent thing to do. Duchamp and Man Ray want prints. |

hands.IMG_7196by mariucaComment by posthumous: as someone who's tried painting, this reminds me of how hard it is to paint light skin. It has no color of its own and seems to share in the color around it. I get a strong sense of that from this photo. the colors deconstruct and reconstruct as I look at it. a fascinating image. |

into the unknownby mariucaComment by posthumous: here we go, dissolving into internet culture. John Berger predicted this. Alan Turing predicted this. Leonardo da Vinci predicted this.
the art looks at us looking at art, and that is art. |
