Halley's Pepperby NeilComment by HornOUBet: To me, the yellow color did not lend to the impact of the photo.... the blur led to the impact... but I am new here, and my opinion does not count for much.... being new, I wasn't sure how to vote... I stayed away from 1's, 9's and 10's....and I put my empasis on yellow leading to the impact of the photo, not so much the photo quality...your's is quiet nice there.... |

Halley's Pepperby NeilComment by petrakka: i think this is a great shot, after looking at it. my first impression though didn't let me register what kind of work may have gone into this. I also think a flash to seperate the peppers a little more may have helped this shot. If I were goin through voting without a lot of time i'd probably give it a 6 or 7. If i had a lot of time to think, probably an 8. |

Halley's Pepperby NeilComment by Neil: Owen, no I didn't use flash, I used two halogen work lights and styrofoam to fill/bounce the light. I'll have to try that though, it's a great idea, and thanks for reminding me about your image--which proves that motion blur CAN do well in a challenge (I thought I'd remembered seeing some). Maybe I'll give your shot a try for Deja Vu. |

Halley's Pepperby NeilComment by orussell: Did you use the flash for this shot Neil? To me it doesn't look like it. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I believe, had you used first curtain sync (all that us DRebel users can do anyway), you would have separated the pepper from the trail; I think that would have made it much more dynamic and the pepper would have shined (no pun intended). That's how I did this . |

Danceby NeilComment by Discraft: Again you managed to get the colores really strong and you can decifer what it is easly. Just another great shot. Sometimes you just have to go your way, Submit what others like if you want to win the ribbon or get high scores, but stick with what you like. Keep it up, i want to see more of this! :) |

Halley's Pepperby NeilComment by Discraft: I just love the colors on this shot. It's diferent to, you play very well with motion blurr, it's blurred but at the same time you can see what it is. I don't really know why this got so low. I didn't votte on this challenge but i would probably give it a 7. Keep it up i would like to see more photos of this kind. Directly to my favorites. |

Danceby NeilComment by cpanaioti: I love the stroke affect created by the camera movement. It's great when the effect you want comes straight from the camera. |
